 Vendor Registration Information

Vendor Registration Information

The new vendor registration process means that all vendors will be required to utilize this new process in order to continue to do business with Shelby County and receive an active vendor number.  Paper applications will no longer be accepted.    For those who do not have regular access to a computer, a kiosk station will be located in the Purchasing Department, Suite 550 @ 160 N. Main St, Memphis, TN  38114 and available Monday – Thursday, 10:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.  For additional resources we do have a list of public library locations that have computer stations that are available to the public at no charge (Library Listing).

The new application process will be open for enrollment starting January 5, 2009 at 10:00 am.   If you would like to continue (or be considered) as a vendor then you must log-in to the new system and submit an application.  Current vendors will be matched to their existing vendor assignment number and re-activated after all of the necessary documentation has been received.

Shelby County Government utilizes the industry commodity code listing (NIGP) to identify the various categories of goods and services available.  You will be required to specifically identify that information on your application.  You can review this information in advance to ensure that you will be correctly identifying your area(s) of specialty.

If you have any additional questions regarding the new electronic application process then please review the following documents:
