Visitors Center Public Rooms
Education Room:
Estimated capacity: 30 classroom seating, 48 dinner seating and 70 theater seating
$50.00 per hour if event concludes prior to park closing*.
$25.00 per hour additional fee if event is in progress after park closing to include security personnel at building until party exits park.
Board Room:
Estimated capacity: 60 classroom seating, 80 dinner seating and 130 theather seating
$80.00 per hour if event concludes prior to park closing*.
$25.00 per hour additional fee if event is in progress after park closing to include security personnel at building until party exits park.
Use of Education Room and Board Room:
$130.00 per hour in event concludes prior to park closing*.
$25.00 per hour additional fee if event is in progress after park closing to cover costs of security personnel at building until party exits park.
Use of Patio Area(s) in addition to room rental:
$25.00 per hour
Determination of patio use:

Any items set up on the patio, i.e. tables, chairs, music stands, constitutes use of the patio area. |

A significant overflow of people onto the patio area(s) during an event constitutes use of the patio. |

Patio rental must accompany a room rental. |
TV/VCR equipment rental:
Shelby Farms has TV/VCR equipment available for use in conjunction with a room rental. There is a $25.00 usage fee. Rental arrangements must be made at time of facility booking.
Building Use Criteria
A $200.00 clean-up deposit will be collected for all rentals. The deposit will be returned if facilities are left properly cleaned.
*Park closing varies with sunset times. Rental starts from the moment first person arrives, be it caterer or guest, and concludes when last person leaves.
Rooms can be rented up to 12:00 midnight.
Use of Board and/or Education room will be limited to activities suited to the facility and at the discretion of Shelby Farms Administration.
Use of kitchen will be limited to previously prepared foods. No cooking is allowed on site. Kitchen can be shared if there is more than one event in the building. Kitchen must be left clean.
