August 7, 2008 Election - Ordinance No. 361 approved by voters
  
Two ordinances were approved for the November 4th ballot. The first ordinance, Ordinance 364, creates the county charter offices for the Shelby County Sheriff, Trustee, Register, County Clerk, and Assessor.  The second ordinance, Ordinance 365, proposes to limit those officers to two consecutive four-year terms.
