The participants confirmed for the 2023 Mayor Lee Harris’ Summer Work Experience Youth will be posted on this page no later than Friday, April 28, 2022. These names were selected in a random lottery. All youth on this list have confirmed they will be participating in the program. For questions, please use the "Contact" Page on the main Youth Jobs page.

Onboarding dates

An HR e-onboarding is required.  Youth participants will receive more information about the paperwork they will need to complete and the steps they will need to take to be officially hired by the end of April.

Required items for e-onboarding

Youth who were selected for the Mayor’s Summer Work Experience should provide the following items for the onboarding session:

  • Your Tennessee state ID or a driver’s license.
  • Your original social security card (not a copy).
  • Your bank direct deposit form and information. The account must have your name on it. If you don’t have a bank account, you’ll be issued a payment card where your paychecks will be loaded.
