Definitions
- Motorcycle: Every motor vehicle having a saddle for the use of the rider and designed to travel on not more than three wheels in contact with the ground, but excluding a tractor, is considered a motorcycle under state law.
- Motorized bicycle: A vehicle with two or three wheels, an automatic transmission, and a motor with a cylinder capacity not exceeding 50 cubic centimeters that is capable of propelling the vehicle at a maximum design speed of no more than 30 miles per hour on level ground is considered a motorized bicycle.
Registering Your Motorcycle / Motorized Bicycle
Any person desiring to title and register a motorized bicycle or motorcycle may do so following the
normal titling and registration procedures that apply to any other motor vehicle.
