Unified Development Code
The Memphis and Shelby County Unified Development Code (the "UDC") was approved by the Memphis City Council and the Shelby County Board of Commissioners in August, 2010, and took effect on Jan. 1, 2011. It serves as the zoning code and subdivision regulations for all properties within the City of Memphis and unincorporated Shelby County. This blog is devoted to the proposal to amend the UDC based on its one-year anniversay of enactment. Please review the document and post any comments you may have. All comments will be reviewed by Office of Planning and Development staff.
