Memphis, TN - Enrollment is now open for the first MSCOR, Inc of 2019. During the program, students will learn skills to help them find employment. Topics of the course include vocational training, technical training, financial literacy skills, relationship and marriage counseling. This hands-on training and life coaching approach is designed to help those with a criminal conviction re-enter into society.

“MSCOR, Inc. will help people take 100% ownership of their life,” says Harold Collins, Director of the Memphis and Shelby County Office of Re-Entry. “Students will graduate with new skills, a sense of empowerment, and hopefully a job.”

“Shelby County citizens often leave the prison system and find their conviction is preventing them from getting a job. MSCOR, Inc. is a great way to help these people.” says Shelby County Mayor Lee Harris. “One of the best ways to stop the cycle of people going in and out of the criminal justice system is to make sure they have the skills to acquire and retain a job to support their family.”

MSCOR, Inc. is free for those to qualify. To enroll, call 901.222.4550, email re-entrymemphis@shelbycountytn.gov, or stop by the Office of Re-Entry at 1362 Mississippi Boulevard. Enrollment is now open and classes kick off on January 23rd.
