How can I receive mental health treatment after being released from custody if I’m not enrolled in Mental Health Advocate or the Criminal Justice Liaison Program?

The Mental Health Services Coordinators assist persons by linking them with mental health outpatient treatment in the community as well as resources (Alliance Healthcare Services, Case Management, Inc., etc.) The Mental Health Services Coordinators also assist with the release in court and schedule follow-up appointments with the participants to begin monitoring and establishing needed services. The Mental Health Services Coordinators monitor and provide status reports to the courts regarding the persons’ compliance/noncompliance with established services. This helps the Judge determine If the case will be dismissed or prosecuted.
